Symphony No. 15 In G Major, K. 124 IV. Finale

This rondo-finale shows the 16-year-old Mozart’s increasing surefootedness with the emerging symphonic form — as well as his sense of humor! A well-accented style will allow this piece to sparkle. Seconds, violas and cellos remain in 1st position — first violins use 3rd, and basses some 2nd and 3rd. An optional piano part is included for rehearsal only.
