Tempo Press was founded in 2006. Our aim is to publish educational string music that is notable not only for its musicality but also for its usefulness as a teaching tool. With this goal in mind, we are proud to be the exclusive publisher of Sandra Dackow Editions. For years, Dr. Dackow has been among the foremost arrangers of music for beginning and intermediate string orchestras, and we are excited about continuing that legacy in the future.

Reading Session at the 2009 ASTA Conference
Bring your instruments! Led by renowned conductor and arranger Sandra Dackow, teachers will have the opportunity to play over 80 easy and intermediate compositions for school orchestra. Attendees will be able to select from new titles and old favorites. Dackow will also offer rehearsal and performance tips specific for each title.
