Tic Toc Clock

Tic-Toc Clock was inspired by “My Grandfather’s Clock” and borrows the use of two wood blocks to simulate the sound of a clock in performance. The piece uses first position playing and incorporates pizzicato playing and some off-beat accents. Block chordal texture is contrasted with upper strings playing against the lower strings in this two minute piece. Wood blocks and piano are required for performance.
