Composer: Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus
Arranger: Dackow, Sandra
Description: This symphony was written in Salzburg, in May of 1772, when the composer was sixteen, during a year of incredible maturing as a symphonist. Eight symphonies followed one another within less than a year, showing the influence of a recent visit to Italy. This sunny finale, with its flavor of the hunt, offers a good example of the young composer’s work at a time when he was rapidly absorbing the influence of various national styles.
